Actually Ted they did, forgot about that. The 500 has removable spacers so the rear wheel can come out backwards due to the 4 into 4 system, the 550 hasn't got those as it had a 4 into 1. Good shout.

My 500 spacers are 32mm on sprocket side and 47mm brake side
Love the 500 and 550 have a 500 called Lazarus under restoration

no they are the stainless ones made by the forum member but were exactly the same size as original.
