Always found the gold never looks right on computer screens so could be correct in person but where are the side panel stickers and is it the early square case, i cant tell.

You may be right but looks a bit to orangy gold to me like custom. 3000's VIN probably just after square case model and has rounded top case.

Definitely not a square cased engine.

Supposed to be a correct restoration but fitted socket bolts in the engine, seat is not original, tank trim is not original and the right hand switch doesn't look right either.

Looks to be Candy Gold Custom to me, very orangey.

Exhausts are later type 550K ones, NOT original, originals didn't have the writing on the back, the other odd thing, claims very low mileage and then lists loads of parts changed that really should still be very useable after so little mileage, pistons, jets for instance.

It's very nice, just not a really great restoration if you were going for original.
Kids in a the back seat cause accidents.

I think he can be forgiven for fitting HM374 pipes .. basically 323's with the safety verbage stamped on the rear undersides ( like most Honda exhaust had to have in the 80's or was it 90's even CB72 ones)  but still stamped HM323 where it matters and more desirable than any repros in terms of originality IMHO.
Biggest no-no for me are the allen screw fasteners everywhere  .... But some people love 'em.

We are cruel: Wrong mirrors, engine mount bolts don't look right, 17mm oil filter bolt, front brake light switch connections! As a matter of course usually prefer the candy gold to the Starlight gold (too yellowy).
