Can anyone recommend a courier to move a cb550 from Brighton to Herefordshire? Best quote I've had so far is £180

Not sure how much they charge but BikeBus guys are good. £180 is probably the going rate.

I used these guys in 2017 - Hillingdon to Ware 120pounds, but a bit of inflation since then, so 180 for your route seems ballpark.

More recently I used Bikebus for Glasgow to Ware and would also use them again. Cost a bit more though for that distance!

Thanks all,  I'm trying to decide whether a near 10hr round trip and fuel or just a good courier is best.  The things I could get done in 10hrs...go to work to pay for the courier for example

By the time you've hired a van, driven, tried to safely attach the bike, dropped it, scratched it etc, paid for the fuel! It can be worth letting someone else take the strain!

Agreed, I love having grown up ion the Welsh border of Herefordshire but getting anywhere can be a slow old business.

I'm pretty sure I recognise your name but that may be from on here?  As Andy says above I think I'm better off paying for it, one missed speed camera and I'll wish I'd have shelled out the £180.
