Nice work on the instrument bracket. It looks very professional.  👍

Are the 3 wire front indicators made so that they can be used as daytime running lights (as in USA)?
If so you can leave the running light wire disconnected, not used. The other 2 wires would be power from flasher relay and earth. Just need to identify which is which.
LED indicators either use a resistor in each indicator wire with the original flasher relay or use an LED electronic flasher relay which doesn't need resistors.

DomP:
The new indicators are two wire, I've tried them in just about every combination but can't get them to work on th front, the rears are fine however.  I've fitted a new relay to run leds as well

McCabe-Thiele (Ted):
Have you tried switching the front bulbs with the rear?

Tested the front bulb holders using a test lamp?

I think I'll try this today Ted, I'll plug in an original lamp first.  They were working before so with checking again before I go any further

DomP:
Retracing my steps paid off, when I've fitted new headlight brackets they mount onto plastic bushes so I had a break in the earth.  Moving the ground wires to some spare plugs fixed it!
