Could it have been a 350 clutch basket?
Yes, it may well of been, but I wouldn't know personally as I've never taken a 350 one apart. Here's some photos of the 400 rubbers, taken by a friend of mine, when he took his apart.

Now that's confusing you've posted ones that are the same as type B on my ebay listing, which trigger says aren't 400 ones but are 500/550 ones

It can get even more confusing 😂😂😂😂
Here's a link to Kevin (TTR400) post on him making and trialing cush rubbers and another forum member making some.

So it looks like there are 2 types, I recon type B is a later design and probably better because theres more material on the side under load when used

I'm wondering if the very early 400's used 500 or 550 rubbers 🤔🤔🤔. The problem is none of us want to take our clutch baskets apart to test the theory 😂😂😂
Edit.... Or did the early 400's use the 350 clutch basket?

The post shape on the 500/550 clutch basket is completely different to the 400 shape. Non Transferable in my opinion.

Interesting discussion as, Honda never made the clutch baskets and this was farmed out to many different suppliers. I am wondering if the rubbers and baskets were designed by the suppliers.

Though the CB750 sohc's have no rubbers in the baskets but, all have the same clutch cog and different baskets.

Some later honda's share the same baskets but, once taken apart you will find that they are different inside. I think the early CBR900r's had 6 different shaped rubbers in just 1995 which, would suggest that those basket came from 6 different suppliers   ;)

That's me, I made these a few months ago, and I've been testing them out for the past couple of months to make sure I'm happy with them. Trigger I've got another account but I've just started using this account for stuff ill need to pay tax on to make my accounting a bit easier

Any discount for us poor forum members?  ;) ;)

Has there any more information on the Clutch Basket Cushions. I have 2 Spare baskets and both of them have the Cushions that are mainly symmetrical. Any help on locating a set of these would be appreciated.

I'm in contact with Max who makes them, he's done me some stainless steel carb linkage rods for the 500/550F carbs, I asked him the other day what the news is on the clutch rubbers but as yet he hasn't replied. When he does I'll let you know.

I think this is Max, location matches. Identify which shape of rubber you need, he even sells the backplate in the first 2 links.
