Could you not drill a v small hole in the shaft and glue a pin in low down?  Or Am I missing the point?

It’s bonkers hard stainless Matt, I’ve a couple of new ones coming in anticipation of the inevitable

I’ll see how bullet proof they are when they get here tmrw. Good idea though hadn’t thought of that, I only know they’re made of Hardium as I re cut the thread in it as it was a USA job and was in silly measurements.
