Roo, I was thinking of doing the same thing on my F1as it would appear a PO used a slotted screwdriver to open the flap, where did you get the push button?

I've been reading through your build and noticed you mention Sparsholt, I managed a Maidenhead Aquatics branch for years and we used to recruit staff from the college as well as send staff there.  I'd imagine you'd know quite a few people that I do.

Hiya, more than likely it’s such a small industry. I’m off to the states to manage a koi farm for a couple o months again for Neil Hatdy Aquatics. A massive supplier both over here and there.
I studied at sparsholt and taught there for a bit, ave days

I’ve got a spare pusher thingy I think, I’ll have a look later, you can have it FOC. I won’t need another

Should end up looking something like this when done. (Spring and pin not in)

Thought it would be the tidiest and most unobtrusive.

Looks very neat that.  Thanks that would be great if you have one left over, send me your PayPal details.

I've visited Neil Hardys years ago on a fish buy, probably getting on for 20 years ago now.

Hardcore pointing!!  ;D ;D ;D

It's much better. Nerve damage was like having electric shocks and that has all gone. Going a little stir crazy as no workshop time etc etc.
Mind you, my digital music library is looking a lot better after a clean up....will PM you...
Matt

Oh Roo, what have you done. Your bike is not original and that means it's worth nothing. Have you learnt nothing being on here. It must have Japanese air in the tyres, inside the original tyres as well, that petrol cap should be zinc plated not chromed. Now you've just devalued the bike. You'll never sell that mate.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

It’s a tacho predominantly and a digital speedo underneath.
All the idiot lights are all built in too. Just tidier and fits the look I was going for with it. I had no clocks at all to start when I got the heap so I had Carte Blanche.
