Yeah, really slight dome on the top, completely smooth so dirt finds it hard to grip. Sounds like the same bolts. Odd as the pics on CMS show them as flat topped.



I gather that's not them.
Kids in a the back seat cause accidents.

Mine are much shinier than your cms pic plus they have a slightly raised dome.🌟🌟🌟

Been a useful thread this. The parts list diagram is hard to untangle but j think I will go full dome hex head at the top end. What’s the best option for the clutch and other cover bolts? Are you going ss cap head here Ted ? That is the way I’m thinking but I’m also tempted by the cms full engine set of cross heads…

I'm SS on my cam covers aside from the front four that are the 8mm headed ones. I am not keen on cross heads as not as easy to Torque up. As all my engine casing bolts were the dreaded Allen Key headed type in  SS I kept them aside from the top engine casing ones that hold water. Used std hex head in SS.
