Hi there...you need to speak to me.  I run the Phil Read Replica/Honda Britain owners club that covers the models you are looking for.We have about 50 members and between us we own the lions share of the still surviving examples. We /I can steer you towards the good ones and away from the rubbish and fakes out there!!

Welcome to the group and sub group! I'm a junior member of the PRR contingent and own a project PRR bike myself. You have stumbled onto a friendly, knowledgeable collection of people on this forum that are only to happy to answer questions and share information. There are a fair few bikes out there that are fake or not worth spending money on as well as some hidden gems. Good luck in your quest in finding a project bike .
Current bikes owned
-1967 Norton 650SS
-1989 Kawasaki ZXR750 project in progress
-1979 Seeley 750 Classic
-2007 Triumph 900 Scrambler, now sold
-1978 Phil Read Replica arriving soon!
