My new 1975 CB400F has all the indications that the engine side covers are all painted Cloud Silver and not Polished. Is this correct? all the Pictures i have researched online (BAT, Google) show all the bikes i can find have painted covers. My CB360T has all painted covers as well.My CB550,750 have polished covers. Thanks

Yes the covers were painted on those models. You are lucky as you can get this stuff in the States very easily ... not so for us in the UK.

A lot of debate on here but this is what I use. Others will argue the case for other products.
The lower crankcases on the CB360 and CB400F were not painted or polished.

Depends which covers you mean on the 750 and 550 For instance the cam cover was polished and lacquered on most CB750's

I’m in the states as from Thursday for three weeks on a job, if you desperately need or want any of this let me know and I’ll bring you some home in my bag. Drop me a PM

It's a pressurised container Roo, I'm not sure they'd allow that.

Brought some back for another chap in the village last time out, its no different to a can of deodorant and they've never had a grumble about those. If it gets sent over via air freight in the post its still flown with no issues so never had a problem but |I hear you mate.
