The non-conducting part is quite brittle, so blasting is a bit risky.
Assembly with medium Locktite went very well. Quite pleased with the result.

I would cover the non-conducting part with something like Blu-tac or Plasticine and then bead blast . Agree ... better to dismantle though Jan.
