Disc nut torque setting

XS850:
Hello all - does anyone have a torque setting for the front disc (CB400F) securing nuts (4 off) please - can’t find anything in Haynes or the Honda booklets I’ve got, nor can I find it through a search on here!

On the 500 that has six  8mm nuts its 13.0 to 16.6 ft lbs the 400 is probably similar setting.

Ted's figure is correct. 8mm bolts on 400f. Use the lock washers as well or shallow nyloc nuts.

XS850:
Thanks Ted & Tayesidedragon - is there a lock (tab) washer available as there’s nothing in the parts fiche? They came off with just a shouldered nut and there’s limited free bolt (original) length to fit a shouldered locknut or plain locknut with washer!

Nurse Julie:
No lock washers on those nuts on the 400/4 . Just a flanged nut.
