Discs and carriers
« on: November 02, 2010, 11:27:24 PM »
The rebuild lumbers on, slowed by lack of money and time, but still fun in those stolen moments!
Started to dismantle the various parts on the Henry Abe wheels and just wondered if anyone can give a definitve answer regarding the discs on the front wheel. I am presuming the wheel was made to accept standard Honda parts, but don't know if what is on is standard or some oddity knocked up in a shed off the coast of Japan.
The disc is 295mm diameter, drilled and I looks to be stainless (i.e. covered in dust and cobwebs not rust!).
The carrier is 180mm diameter, and has three small round depressions in it with what looks like 6 F 3 in them - one character per circular depression. All being well there will be a photo attached. Answers if anyone has any please?

Sure looks like a standard "K" series CB750 front disc.
