I'll be glad when 2024 has gone, we lost our Grandson Morgan on the 24th February 2024 aged 19 yrs, he is survived by his twin James. In November 2024 my cousin's son Dan died aged just 18 yrs. Wendy & I were due to have lunch with my daughter, son in law and grandson on the Saturday before Christmas, we had to cancel because we both caught the coughing bug. Bring on 2025 please, please, please. 😁😁😁

Grand family tour from Cumbria to West Country to Brighton to London to Sheffield and still not home. 2 hour queue in the fog on the M1 yesterday. On the bright side got a joke card about restoration  with blank cheque ( amount as much as needed) from missus as part of Christmas present. Looking forward to getting back in the garage when home and not talking to anyone for a longtime.

Happy heathy and satisfying 2025 wishes to all.

Now where I have I hidden that crankshaft….

It's been a nice quiet Christmas for us just me and dear wife, cooked and ate some nice food, drank well aged wine and whisky, stove lit and cows, sheep, dog (Finn) and cat (Spud) all happy and warm. It's blowing again on Monday some more being in by the stove 😊 after scuttling around feeding animals - all good. A happy time

And a Laverda triple engine stripped ready for a trip to Keith at Laverda Scozia on the third.

A very Happy peaceful and rewarding New Year for you all 🎆🥂🎊🎉

We cooked a huge Turkey leg from our local butchers  in our slow cooker for our Chihuahuas - they knew it was Christmas day too!
