Motorcycle audio
« on: November 22, 2010, 09:07:57 AM »
I have noticed that the quality of audio on "you tube" type films is usually terrible because it is normally captured on small video camera microphones without any kind of wind-gag.  Being in the sound business I find this particularly irksome.

If anyone knows anyone who would like to spend a few pounds and a fun afternoon recording the sounds of their beloved machine revving up and whizzing away/past etc. on broadcast quality equipment let me know.  I am also able to sync this up to film, if so desired.  This could be done for road machines, or, track side if you are involved racing.

I will try to post some examples soon so that you can get a flavour of what I mean.

PM for more details and links to examples.
