CB350, back on the road
« on: September 24, 2026, 05:19:14 PM »
Thirty years taking up space in the workshop, rebuilt engine, forks, brakes, chain and sprocket, Amal carbs, custom intakes.  The only things that cost money were brake shoes, a gasket set, carb jets, tyres, second hand silencers. Seriously low budget, kind gift of engine bits from a friend.

That’s finest grade coffee sack that is! 🤣. Not too bad really.  Might put a bit of sheepskin on if it gets too much.  Toured France like that, although was a bit younger then.

I don’t know what would be worst the seat or the handlebar position for me!😂 looks like a good old workhorse though.

The thing is you got it back on the road again, and I'll hazard a guess it will attract just as much attention as a newly restored concours one would.

Well done and enjoy!

Nice one, though the seat looks a bit sparse it's great that another golden oldie is back on the road.
A friend had one of those back in the 70's, I don't know why as he did not like Hondas, so he thrashed it unmercifully, but it never let him down.
He once crashed into another bike on it and he ended up on the pillion on the other bike (a Guzzi), I would have loved to see a video of that.

Cheers

Thank you all.  My plan is to have this one working so I still have a bike to ride while I put new fork seals in the 500 a mend one or two other little routine things before winter sets in.
