Shock Absorber oil

Is this a leak or just 'inhibiting' oil or grease on a new shock absorber?

Can't tell from the pic, wash it off and if more appears its a leak

i reckon thats chain grease

10m miles use would hardly create a leak ? if so i think they are still under warranty.

as for sticker, never fitted for cosmetic reasons
