My CB550K3 has the 2 wires for the clutch, so I would say it is the same.

500/4 doesnt have a cluch switch and is differently wired for lighting to a 550 k3 from 1978. The 500/4 wasn't about in 1977 /78 so part of the detail is wrong. I did fit a 400/4 loom to a 550k3 honda, was pretty close match but with a few extra extensions for a few bits of the loom so a 400/4 and 550k3 combo of switchgear + loom might well work.
Got a 500/4 with rust and a sidecar and loadsa bits. nice and original and been round the clock

Part number 35200-377-003 lefthand switchgear fits straight on to a CB500K2 except there is no wire to the indicator warning buzzer. 35150-377-013 kill switch righthand switchgear also fits straight on, both are still available new from Dave Silver.

That isn't the same as my 500K2, mine has dip and high beam on it as well.
