can anyone tell me if the exhaust clamps that bolt to the head are the same as the 400/4???

yes they are, well certainly for the K3 model and they were common to many of the Hondas of the 70's

they share the same part number in my books 18231-333-010

The K3 have a 333 middle part number but all the 500 have a 323 middle part number so they may, or may not fit

You're right Bryanj...so i got a few of my books out..sad person i am!

18231-333-010 is listed in CD175, CB175, CB200, CB350F, CB400/4 (all),
CB500/4 K3 but not K1 , CB550/4 F2 but not F1, CB550 K3 but not K1.
However none of the CB750s are listed so it may be related to diameter? or stud centres?

ahwell..more for Steve to choose from

Can't be stud centre as all the 500/550 heads subsitute to one number, but could be the pipe diameter as the K3 was "Tunes" for economy and lean mix

18231-323-000 clamps fit;-
