Hi all,
My Cafe Yoshimura Four gets used often and enthusiastically...
The only problem being the bike is now quicker than its brakes? The rear brake is of course a necessity rather than a once-a-year MOT prod, I am looking at upgrading the front brake to an acceptable standard.
I saw MANY years ago a Four with twin discs - can't remember too much info but it had two left-hand forklegs with the relevent calipers etc running to an extra bolt-on disc on the righthand of the hub - all simple enough but this inverts your mudguard mounts, meaning welding & rechroming of my very shiny front mudguard...
I have already upgraded to a braided line, the brake light switch being built into to the upgraded master cylinder, the disc has also been lightened to try to get some heat into what is basically a car disc, both size & thickness...
Im thinking of making a new swing-mount for a new twin-pot front caliper, has anyone done this already?
