Battery not charging

(1/2) > >>

stubobaloo:
This is a simple one for all you highly tuned mechanical types.. but first off I have something to own up to.

I made the mistake of thinking because my bike was built in 1976, that made it a K6. Apparently, according to some sharp-eyed fella on Ebay it's a CB750F.

Anyhow, the battery ain't retaining a charge.... any clues ?

Thanks for any assistance, much appreciated

Have you had a look at it? is the fluid within levels on all cells? Chances are if it aint holding charge, it's probably knackered! The usual answer is to replace it, they are relatively cheap (

Post a picture of your bike.

Seamus:
As above, but may be worth putting a multimeter accross the battery terminals and seeing what voltage you get, with out the engine running and then with.

Bryanj:
Normal none charging problem is bad connections.
