Hammerite Replacement
« on: June 06, 2014, 07:43:50 AM »
Hi Everyone,
A while ago we were in a discussion about how Hammerite was crap now.
well if anyone is interested try Simonize tough black, it comes in gloss or satin black.
Straight on to metal two coats and I have achieved a superb finish.
Highly recommended. ;D ;D

Regards,

Paul, it even works better it you pop it in the oven at 200 for an hour. It then becomes fuel and fluid resistant.

Electric is ok. I got one of those small bread ovens off a car boot years ago for a fiver. Great for small parts.
