Rear shock mountings
« on: January 16, 2012, 12:55:23 PM »
I've removed the rear grab rail on my bike, but I can't get the domed nuts up tight enough to hold the shocks in place at the top and I can't find anyone who stocks suitably thick washers. Any thoughts?

Can you not get someone to turn up a couple of spacers for you?

Custom fasteners may have some as well.

Failing that, try normal thickness washers, but start by spacing from the bolt head so they are not so visable.
