Thanks to all for replies, I shall be keeping it if it needs the guides sorting so be it. All the replies have good points and give me more knowledge to ponder on. As in my other posting I think it will end up in a monoshock conversion as thats what I fancy next.
One thing I did read in the 550 post was using an SU carb always a favourite of mine when playing with cars years ago.Cheers all.
