What year and model is it as they vary and are not car sizes!

As to the rear, it may release using heat on the caliper and clamping the nipple in a vice and turning the caliper off it BUT pump the piston(s) out first using the pedalor you will have hells own job removing them.

If the nipple shears opff i can do you a repair kit for it

Thats the smaller of the two Honda sizes, rear should be same, they are available from Honda and some of the Honda cars use the same but not sure which.

Are the bleed nipple threads and seat OK in the caliper, If not you need a repair kit.

Just managed to get the bleed nipple out of my rear caliper which was rounded and solid,I built up a wall of Blu Tak around the nipple so the nipple was sitting in a bath of Freeway (great stuff) most of the day,i ended up using a Torx socket for my ratchet i just hammered it into the hole so it was solid & tight then attached my ratchet and gently turned and low and behold it came free well chuffed i really didnt want to go through the hassle of using a repair kit,

The rear bleed nipple is larger than the 2 front ones i thought they would be the same ??

Dont know if this is a useful tip or not ??

Front 45224-579-013 £6.95
Rear  43352-568-003 £3.50

Both in stock at Dave Silver, even does a cheaper repro for the front one

2 front ones? the F1 only had a single disk as standard, do you have twin disks?

Something I have thought off after my recent ride! ( see my other discs topic! ) but I have an aversion to comstar wheels, are yours comstar, alloy or spoked? just wondering what would be the best fit. Mind you, I have newly rebuilt stainless steel front wheel, don't really want to junk that

I've got spoked wheels thinking about drilling the disks but not sure yet ,quite like the look of the solid disks,
Anybody know of a decent place where I can get my spoked wheels rebuilt once painted

Stu, its not rocket science and it is easy to do yourself, especially with new spokes and even easier with new rims as well--both available from Dave Silver---your never ending money bank that don't save you any money for later.

I will talk you throught it if you want

Cheers Bryan I have thought of giving it a go myself probably handy for any future projects,I emailed David Silver about spokes they have front spoke sets but would have to order in a rear set !!! My rims should be fine they seem to run true and the chrome is OK they are getting painted anyway.

Thanks for the help.
