IE9_64 changes into offline mode?
« on: August 31, 2012, 10:37:23 PM »
Dunno if it is directly associated with the recent updates, but when I access the sohc.co.uk site my browser now goes into offline mode.
When I then click like [Show unread posts since last visit] it goes back into online mode, but shows the same 'new messages' like one week ago...

I don't use IE but have tried it on IE9/W7 and it seems OK.

Do you have access to any other browsers to try?

Cleared the cache? (sorry - don't know how on IE...)

Nah, I don't bother to mess up my machine with 'Chrome' and such  ;)

I'm on other forums using the same software where this glitch does not occur... (like http://ww2.my-mc.com/ as example)

But I just tried access from my little NB510 netbook (networked at home, sharing ISP access) with x86 OS, where it does not happen; thus I think its isolated to the _64 version of IE9.

Since its minor, I tend to ignore it   ;)

And mine just again popped up the [dial in] window (whilst DSL is engaged), to then display [changed back into online mode] when clicking on [reply]  ;)

Gremlins!  ;D

I find IE a bloody pain and have used Firefox for years. So much less bother.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Set/sit. Bought/brought FFS. Bloody Americans.
