New member - Hi All

Hi all.  Just joined and wanted to say Hi!
I have looked at the the forum many times and must say it is very helpful.  I have owned a number of SOHC bikes in the past 41 years and having sold a good 77 750 F1 recently I have bought a 77 400/4 with only 20k on the clock and in need of some general TLC which will include new spokes and rims and other cleaning up. Engine sounds and runs fine with no smoke and no rattles.

Have owned an eclectic range of bikes over the years and currently also ride a 2000 Harley FXDL for cruising.  However the best ones have been the SOHC's which is why I have just got another one!

I expect I will be looking for advice and can also give some experiences as we go along. Would also be interested in local ride-outs if enough people around Reading interested in the better weather!

Hi and welcome.

You are not that far from me. I've more or less finished tidying up my 400/4F2 (only 2.2k miles 400 of which I have done) so I'm also looking forward to the better weather.

I'm in Wokingham (Barkham Road) so not a zillion miles away. Both my 500s are SORNed in the barn as I ride my Tiger 1050 most days.

If you are using Windows, get Windows Picture Resizer and reduce to a width of 600 pixels.

In XP, you have to download it from Microsoft, I think it comes with W7.
