1980 honda cb 250rs

 :)Hello there     IIhave just bought a Honda 250 rs   it seems to be in reasonable condition and I want to use it as daily runabout . Are there any other member who would like to swap tales of of joy or misery on this machine ,also have 1200 Aspencade  that is trying to bankrupt me.Anyone out there interested ,I live in the Chester area and would like to get this bike up to a reasonable standard .  Best wishes   Dagodave

Hi Dagodave.
Many years ago I used to look after my sister in laws bike RS250 if its the same type as yours good robust bike with black engine if I recall right.As with most Honda's then oil changing is critical.She ran it low one day and the head and cam was wrecked.In those days even without my labour charges was not cheap to repair.Best of luck with your bike.

I had one for a while and really enjoyed riding it, city despatch rides used them around london, so that must say something

Hi Dave I don't have it anymore this photo was taken in about 1984/5?  ,

bought this off a mate for £170 kept it for awhile then traded it in for a mint Suzuki GT250  cheers Mick.

Sorry about butting in dago, my chicken chaser photo mick, had a GT250 myself got it new on HP cost me a fortune
