First thoughts on my Goldwing

(1/3) > >>

mickwinf:
Well my new (to me) GoldWing arrived today via BLD after its purchase unseen from EBAY. Not quite as good as I hoped, but pretty original to 1975 It needs a bit of work but is roadworthy, taxed and tested. I took it for a ride, it was my first time on a wing and on the whole I liked it, the weight is no problem when riding as it is low down, with big wide bars its like steering the Titanic! Only thing is I can't get it on the centre stand, will have to do some body-building!! My 500 seems small now! All in all I am a happy bunny.

Bob Wessner:
Congrats e new acquisition. Post a pic when you can.

mick:
Is it a full dresser or naked wing? i like em naked myself  8) post some photos when you get chance  ;), cheers Mick.

Bryanj:
There is a "Knack" to the centre stand, put all your leg and body weight onto the pad of the stand whilst lifting and rolling back the grab handle.----at least thats how i remember it being

mickwinf:
here are some pics, as you can see it needs some work but fair condition for its age
