£11k for a K7?
« on: May 20, 2013, 08:17:46 PM »
Just for the amusement: ebay 130912832952

nice condition, but looking at the gallery there are a lot of board memebers with bikes as least as good, apparently, you all can now retire early ;)

Thought the world had gone mad but still a fortune for a K6 - at least it's got it's side panel wings on the right way round unlike the (also extortionate) K2 at same daeler !

He wont get that, even half of that price is unrealistic for that model year

Mind reader - was just about to post this. Total dreamer in my opinion. I sold my stunning unrestored '74 K4 two weeks ago for £5750.

Makes you wonder though how close to the asking price(s) he's actually getting?

;) lol yes a total dreamer ,gotta be real a gold digger this one what a tosser,by the time they got to the k7 these bikes where real slugs and the competition had left them way behind. Honda had milked every penny they could out of the CB750 range it was time to let it die.
now this was a better buy
someone got this little cracker for just over four and half grand its a 1970 CB750 k0 the auction finished yesterday http://www.eBay.co.UK/itm/321126654186?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
;) Lol you couldn't build one for that money
now you got me dreaming  ::) right so if I list my five k0's as a job lot say fifty grand or better still sixty grand as a buy it now price , you need too keep the dreamers ,test pilots, tyre kickers and bottom feeders away you know, so then some trillionaire on eBay  will add them to his collection  8)
 and my disclaimer
I don't have a PC so no emails please I don't have a moby or house phone and of no fixed aboard but I will meet in my nearest services bring trailers you will never ride all five at once BTW these are library photo's they really do the bikes justice,no refunds because I like money more than junk taking up precious garage space,no returns because I have had enough of jap crap, no inspection not need I'm a bike  guru expert I know my onions and I'm has honest as the day is long, no haggling its a auction ffs you bought em get over it,cash in my bank at the fall of the hammer and seventy days to clear before you can even see what you bought  I wont answer any questions even silly ones because I wont be there for the handover I will ship worldwide the further they go the better i will even help with shipping at buyers expense of course no warranty these bikes will breakdown they are over forty three years old doh
anyway time to wake up and get to work  ;)

very amusing steff, i was watching the k0 as well, seemed like a bargin, k0's should fetch more than that, maybee the prices are on the way down, i must say if i was selling that k0 i would have emphasized all the correct for year parts, the ones that cost shit loads to find and make restorations painfully expensive,

Hi,
At the end of the day, it does not matter what price you put onyour beautiful, superb concours condition machine, it is still only worth the amount someone is willing to pay, eg a 400/4 cafe racer on ebay at £3000 pounds re-listed at a starting price of 1/2 the original selling price, and it is not a one-off example, quite a few buy now bikes get re-listed at much lower prices

Don,t worry Pete the prices aren't going down just yet
People seem more willing to part with there cash if they see the bike on the road
I used mine to go to work today and bumped into someone that had something to do with spirit of the seventies and the bike shed  8)

He asked if I would sell it my first reaction was to say £7500 as I have been offered that before  and he seemed more than happy.Well he took my number anyway.
But now I'm back to my old post to sell or not to sell

Would 2nd all said,  I,ve over priced bikes some sold and some not always worth a try,
But as said very true saying only worth what someone will pay and not sold till money handed over.
