F1 1976 main stand ?
« on: June 23, 2013, 03:06:12 PM »
Hi, after a lot of painstaking work, I managed to get the main stand off the bike by cutting off one side of the pin (seized solid) heat and a 10 ton press managed to get the rest of the pin out, but the sleeve(/bush/bearing) came out as well with the pin, both shot to bits. does anyone know if you can get the sleeve (bush/bearing) separately?, if so, any ideas where please.
many thanks
John

hi on all the Honda stands I have seen the pin goes through the stand directly with no bushes, pin should be available from David Silvers.
Love the 500 and 550 have a 500 called Lazarus under restoration

Hi all, thanks for the info, it was when the pin came out, it looked like there was a secondary bush attached, would be interested in the pin from Bitsa, please can you advise what you would like for it.
many thanks for your help and advise
