Boot Sale
« on: August 25, 2013, 10:18:48 AM »
Saw this the other day. When I asked how much the guy said 1000 euros and would not shift on his price.
After asking him if he liked sex and travel he hassled me every time he saw me.
Do some idiots really think these bikes are worth this much the photo makes it look better than it was.
Your Thoughts
Cheers

Ufff here in Spain, 1000 euros is a "good price" for that bike. Here the Japans bike are very expensive, the rest of EU is other history  8)

The K4 250s seem to fetch good money, I have seen quite rough ones on ebay go for over £1000. If anyone has one for £300 I would buy it!
Love the 500 and 550 have a 500 called Lazarus under restoration

I am sure Dk spares would put it up for about 900 on ebay, my thoughts are that these bikes would still require lots of money to restore but will not get you anywhere near there worth when selling,

:) yes we can all thank fleabay for hiking the market I had a gold and white  k2 when I was sixteen my pride and joy then bought brand new £460 with hire purchase a friend of mine bought a blue k0 for a grand and spent another two grand restoreing it and guess what he cant get his money back on it . at the end of the day they are just learner legal bikes and this is why if you gonna do a bike go for the biggest and best model, atleast you got a chance of selling it  ;) just my thoughts on it
