what model is my bike

im wondering if anyone could say what model my bike is its a november 78 model 550 4 supersport im led to believe it might be a usa import but not sure any info would be greatly appreciated many thnks in advance jon

Post your engine and frame #'s. The last F's were made in 77.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Set/sit. Bought/brought FFS. Bloody Americans.

As Les says, the engine and frame numbers will confirm it. It could be the same situation as my CB550 F2, which was manufactured in 1977 but not registered until the same date as yours, Nov 1978.

Or try here... select the model you think you have, and then either select the "read more.." Link at the top ... which often gives the applic frame #.... OR within the various parts boxes scroll down to find the VIN box... and hopefully find info there.
