yeah I worked that out.  SEP quoted me 200 quid plus vat and delivery to measure up and provide bearings for big ends and mains.  Thats about the same price I would have paid for shells from Dave Silver so im going to take the hassle out of the job and send the crank up to them.

Cheers Bryan

Yes I realised that.  Ive posted the crank off to SEP.

One other thing, are all the little oil seals in the bottom and top end (e.g o-ring 11*2.5) easy enough to source.  I dont see them listed on DS site?  I think I have everything else sorted.

Normally the  "O" rings and rubber seals for the barrels etc come with a full engine gasket set, but the main oil seals (crank, kickstart, gear lever etc) are bought seperately (Or D.S does a kit of all the oil seals)
If it's got tits or wheels, it's hassle, if it's got both, RUN!!!

Yeah but I still appreciate the fact that you're willing to take the time to take a look.  Thats the great thing about these forums - an opportunity to meet like-minded people.  ;D
