Honda CB450N Sprint bike
« on: March 04, 2014, 02:51:48 PM »
Just for interests sake here's a pic of our CB400/450N that I sprint raced in 2010, the bike managed a 14.2 with me on board but with my (much) lighter mate riding, it got into the 13's

Strange choice! What class would that fit into?
I have a 450DX in my garage.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Set/sit. Bought/brought FFS. Bloody Americans.

At the time there wasn't a choice, the bike was rescued from the back of a parts shop and looked like it would do a turn, engine is basically 450DX top grafted on to a 250 bottom end with oil way mods etc, bike is now sold but still running and beating a few other bikes along the way.

Interesting. I raced a 400 Superdream - Moriwaki 436 big bore + cam. Most people thought strange / weird choice then, spose it was. Surprisingly rapid though. Got 2 3rd places in 500cc open at Darley Moor. However I think 90% of this was lack of brain on my part at the time!!!
One day I'll have the time to restore it, not just talk and dream....

Excellent........I've raced at Darley myself in the ( I think it was) Derby Phoenix cup. Suzuki X7 and Suzuki SP370, over ten years ago now though. I always felt that one of the Superdream variations would give them a run for their money as the bike can be quite fast once you've upped the cc to compensate for the weight.
