My in-laws are in Orford, just down the road from Leiston so certainly up for a ride-out. I keep meaning to visit the steam-engine musuem in Leiston, just haven't got round to it yet.  Apparantly Sizewell also has a visitor centre!

Funny. My mother-in-law is in Woodbridge. I have been to Aldbrough/Leiston quite a few times but never seen DSS place. Is it hidden away?

Its well hidden right at the back of an industrial site not far from the long shop.
I have worked in Woodbridge quite a lot its a nice little town
Just down the road in Framlingham there is a well known shop full of British bikes.

As always a link for the lazy

To get to DS, in the middle of Leiston coming from the A12 you turn left at the crossroads (A1122 / Yoxford road), then turn left into an industrial site just before the railway bridge (I think it might be an old army barracks). DS is right at the back in the left hand corner so as far from the entrance as you can get.....just keep going, avoiding the potholes etc. until you're sure you can't go any further. Then turn left to get to the far corner (avoiding the tumbleweed) and it's there. It's not that obvious until you get right to it, but once there the line up of shiny old Honda's in the window give a bit of a clue...

The 'bike shop in Framlingham is also a must if you are in the area...it's like a museum with the perfect collection of old Brit iron hanging from the rafters, and lots of lovely oily smells!

Good spot.... ..and if you zoom in you can see the 'hedgehog underpass/railbridge' to the right of the level crossing!  If you cross it you've gone to far.

Looking at google earth, ride down the side of the main sheds, turn left at the end to ride in front of the long narrow one, then the DS unit is the the larger of the two grey roofed buildings.

I don't want to get you to excited but he owns both buildings in the small compound and the unit across the road.
Its crammed full of lovely Honda parts and goodies.I have ridden down there for the smallest of parts just to browse at the bikes.

View my lovely beast out side his shop.
