When you build the carbs up onto the bracket don't forget the small steel pin at the bottom inbetween 2 and 3 or there will be nothing to hook the return spring onto.

Been there, seen that, watched the video and destroted the T shirt in frustration!!!

Where’s the best place to buy new floats for my 1976 CB550F?

CMS have them approx £35 each!! If I’m reading it correctly? or maybe i could clean the old ones Ill post a photo later.

Just clean the old ones by hand. Throw them in water and if they float, they will be OK.

Looks like they will clean the very best, I submerged them in water for 15 min's they all still float no sinkers. Once I get my new carb leaf springs & pins eat a few Easter eggs then I'll crack on with my carb build!
