I usually prefer to use the strobe light. In my mind setting it up with the engine running has got to be more acurate in the real world. However I have the same problem with my 400. Can set it up statically but just cannot get it right with the strobe  ???.

Sorry guys YOU probably do not want to hear this but with a strobe NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH GENUINE HONDA POINTS.

Yeah ok James but the amount of guys that frig with shit is beyond me and then wonder why it dont work right.

I've got it spot on statically. It's running sweet. So leaving the strobe light alone ;).
