Going to build a CR Rep, as well as the current project.
« on: March 05, 2014, 12:55:53 PM »
After my lack of motivation post a few weeks ago, the bug has really bitten again, and with all this talk of CR750 reps I do fancy one, but I also want to complete the existing project the way I originally intended.

So the answer is to build a CR rep as well as the current bike. I have quite a lot of cycle parts, probably enough, and engines, but, I don't have a frame.

So.

If anyone has one, or knows of a frame languishing in the back of a garage, waiting for the scrap man, on its way to the tip etc. I could be a buyer. Prefer a pre 75 K, but anything would work, cracks and breaks don't matter I can weld pretty well - w.h.y.
Cheers.
Pete

Hi Pete
I've got an American import frame that is a K2 (will check) but no logbook - goodish nick except it looks like its had the front down tubes 'squeezed' with a jig to take Windjammer fairing brackets (I assume).  I was going to get the dints welded up but picked up another frame from DK - but found that had rusted through (I'm keeping that for a future café racer project after K2 finished - probably)
