Inlet and exhaust valves

This may seem to a lot of you like a dumb question but which are the inlet and exhaust valves on my cb500 four K1?
I know where they are but am not sure which is which.

the ones nearest the carbs are inlet and the ones nearest the exhaust are outlets  cheers Mick

if the valves are out of the head,you should have 4 large headed,and 4 smaller,the smaller are exhausts !! and fit at the front of the engine
