F1 fork slider dimensions
« on: August 09, 2014, 10:07:38 AM »
Hi all  . I'm currently building up my F1 forks , but when I got round to fitting the new (11mm thick Honda) fork seals I noticed that the space between the bottom of the recess( which I'm assuming that the seal sits on in the top of the slider) and the groove in which the wire seal retaining clip sits in was too high up in the fork leg to hold the seal in place. As far as I'm aware my fork sliders are F1 parts , what do you think guys . Cheers Greg "H"

Thanks for the response mate  ;). It's over 30yrs since I last re-built a pair of these forks and I couldn't  remember there being a gap between the seal/clip . Regards Greg "H"
