Oil pan/sump torque setting
« on: September 01, 2014, 04:08:12 PM »
Just spent a couple of happy hours cleaning the sump and changing the filter. Now all is back together I can't find a torque setting for the sump bolts. Can anyone let me know?

Thanks,
Greg

Another couple of beginner questions.

Torque setting for the oil filter and torque setting for the oil drain bolt.

Thanks,
Greg

Not sure what bolts you have in the sump but, Unflanged hex bolts are 8 lbs-ft. If flanged then 10 lbs-ft. STD.
Drain plug is 25-28 lbs-ft
Oil filter bolt is 20-23 lbs-ft.
