Thanks Ash.
Brilliant, I will get the guy to do some engine close ups. The 6mm screws you mention are they the cam cover screws?
Thanks so much for your help with these details ,it will all help me to make a decision from
this far away.

They are beteen the head and barrels. If you download the parts book link I think there is an explored diagram. Even if you don't buy that one I bet 100% you will be getting one  ;D. It's a bit like when the missus nags on about moving house, once you agree to do it .. you are out of there !
Good luck Ash

Ha ha good luck with this Rich. Be prepared to get very poor very quickly ha ha...

I'm probably going to hold onto my K0 for the time being - managed to shift a couple of other bikes so let's compare notes when you source your one...hope it turns out to be a goo'un.

Rich if you want to send me some photo's i can have a nose at them and maybe advise you a bit, i have picked up a fair bit of knowledge on the 69 750 and having two of them in my stash can refer to them,  ash has made some great points which you should find helpful also take a look at my k0 restoration thread and you will see many pictures of original parts
