I've got this complete - pick-ups, black box, and all the wiring but, but, but there are no instructions with it.  It came off a failed 400 Four resto project I bought - allegedly running before it was stripped down, but then aren't they all?

I'll offer it here for £30 plus a fiver postage.  It should fit any SOHC four.  Money-back guarantee if it turns out to be a dud.  Must be someone here who knows how to fit and set these things up.  Otherwise it goes on eBay with a £49.95 start.

Which model is it ? There are some instructions for the H04 here.

... it is the H04 (ie PO has done his homework)
... the wiring has not been doctored / altered

Hah!  Just discovered I left it in the lock-up.  OK, I'll dig it out this evening and check.

EDIT:- called by the lock-up on the way to work.

No idea what model it is, because there's no indication anywhere on the black box, but this is it:-
