clem2012 - nope, the clutch cable guide loop isn't on the bike!  Blew up the pic and it's definitely not there...

EDIT - I think that's a reasonable price for what it is.  I've seen optimists asking more for inferior bikes.  I reckon £4000-4500 is top money for a 400 Four these days (for a private sale, anyway), and this bike is definitely top class.

Yeah, I couldn't resist taking a closer look either....
That's why I posed the question ;D
The detailing is very good though ...

Personally I would have to go see it before any offer went in.
Starting the engine up from cold would be at the top of my list of things to check.
I don't relish opening up an engine anytime soon...seals, gaskets etc etc
Minor cosmetic stuff I quite enjoy !
It would be a long trip for most people so more close-up photos would be useful.

Im no expert but mine's not far off as good looking and sparkley as that one, and it gets a ride out 2-3 times a week (weather permitting of course!!). Moved her into the conservatory today for the winter, central heating, tv, blablabla, I  like to tinker in comfort.  :-*

Top posting Julie... I am slowly clearing out my utility room and suggested we buy a nice big upright freezer to replace the chest one that's take up valuable  floor space. My plan is to move my resto's in there (as the garage links onto it) one by one to work on in comfort, you have given me the ammo to back up my plan!

We need more female members on here to keep us in check but also to give good reasoning for  our actions..

Cheers ... Ash

There will always be a subtle difference between us girls keeping bikes and bits indoors and when you boys do it. I still hoover and dust around the bike, there is never any oil or grase on the floor, the tools are all put back in their boxes when not in use, there are never any oily rags left laying around, and they get a hotwash every now and then. But the main difference is that no one dare have a go at us about it, or there will be no dinner on the table and no clean clothes for a week!!!. I reckon us girls have got it made really  :-*  :-*

I would not call it luck nurse. I would call it years of hard work.

It should say on the cap SAE J1703 but, dot 3 or 4 is fine. Dot 4 has the higher heat point.
