The bathtub has always confused me but maybe that's because its way before my time.
I bet Trig remembers riding one in the 60's   ;)

I didnt like them either, but kinda grows on you and represents an important part of bike development.

Triumph produced to compete with the Scooters that were becoming more popular due to better weather protection.

Many owners ditched the bathtub sections, or rusted out, so now quite rare and original metal panels difficult to find and restorers resort to fibre glass.

The front mudguard is nicknamed a 'pigeon catcher' not so pretty, but good at preventing spray 8)

I offered £500 for it, but owner said that was too much.

I knew parts were worth more than that so gave £350 with agreement that if all there would give another £150 which is what I did.
