Welcome to the strange world of the SOHC.
What Pan do you have? Had a ST1300 and still have a ST1100 1995 with 567,560 miles, still going strong.

Try starting with the head gaskets. Is there any cream in the engine? Did a head overhaul on mine at 175.000 and a topend rebuild at 450.000.

It sounds like a late k1 Ralph probably worth about the same as James's k2 that's for sale at the moment. But if your parting it out than probably half that again.
The most valuable bits will probably be the rhino horn top yoke, clocks and obviously carbs.
