oil pressure switch

Hi, Looking for advise again. does the oil pressure switch tread all the ways down?
Is there a seal for between switch and the oil pump?
My switch  seem to take a lot of pressure to screw down, do not want to shear it
Any advise , ideas would be helpful.

It should be a tapered thread so does not go all the way down, a VERY small amount of liquid pipe sealant on the threads is permissible but not always needed

Should not be a sealing washer on a 400.

Agree with all finger tight and a quick nip been surfice for me no leaks as far back as I can remember
