High Guys,
It's never easy getting a few of us together I know. However, if some of you could  try to make it Steph and myself would be keen to meet up in the New Forest/Sammys. How about making it down on the Sat lunchtime, time/weather permitting and we could take you around the Forest for a run (we'll be on the 550 and 750) which would include late lunch, beer and 'chew the fat' into early evening?
I'm actually running the Sammy Jap day the next day (10am)on the Sunday and I would reckon it will attract around 300 plus 'Jappers' of which around 100 will be classics. 3pm and it all quieten downs. Just a thought?
Lot's of B n B's around Ringwood, Lyndhurst, Western side of Southampton (don't recommend centre of!) Verwood and Fordingbrindge to mention a few!๐Ÿ˜Š any thoughts?
    Nige.

I'm going to attempt racing flat track this year and the weeknd in June already is booked for the 3rd round.
Saying that if for whatever reason can't go racing I would love a trip to Sammys.
May I suggest meeting up in King's lynn on a event called Dirtquake, it's bloody good fun to watch and should be easy to find campsite near.

17 July friday is a racing for flat trackers and final is on 18th with all the other racing as well.

Would love to meet up people who so kindly help with sorting my bike.
I hope I have it running by summer...

John,
No, it's a Sunday event. But a busy one! I also forgot to mention that there are plenty of camping venues in the New Forest. Sandy Balls, Nr Fordingbridge is a popular one, with at least 3 lovely 'Forest' style pubs nearby๐Ÿ˜Š. A sat ride out down to the coast for excellent fish n chips  is highly recommended!
I'd be grateful if anyone thinks this is something they'd like to do and get together I'd like to hear from them? My phone no is 07968 980624. Or PM me. Ta.
   Nige.

I'll be there with the 550....but Trigger,  Nige might have something to say about me turning his garden into an sohc campsite! My bikes are already hogging half his garage space  ;D

Looking forward to it!

if youre looking at a good place to stop overnight, the versys forum stayed at the swallow falls complex in betws y coed in north wales. there are chalets and room for camping although the breakfast wasnt great. it seemed a good meeting point for those based further north. just a suggestion.

making me worried, one of the things I really like about my bike is that I can park it without bothering to lock it up, assuming that no one would be interested in taking such a scruffy old bike.  perhaps I'm out of touch.

I've never heard of a problem in the Forest. Avoid Central Southampton of Course!! I can't recommend a place to stay but in my experience B n B's try to be very accommodating regarding security. Perhaps a chain/cable as a deterrent? The camp sites have log cabins, such as Sandy Balls. 2 can share easily. I would offer my garage but you couldn't squeeze a mouse into it!
Hope you guys can sort it!
   Nige and Steph.
