Yeah makes me weep Pete I just would not do it.Saying that I have seen some where they cut off the silencer and fit megas to the down pipes each to there own I suppose :o

About cutting off silencers for megaphones.
In the day were made twin megas for BMW flat twins, say 4 pipe ends to be seen from the rear.
Remember one german CB750 Honda fitted with them!
Sporting 8 pipe ends to be seen from the rear!

I have a lovely set of original 4 into 4s for the 550k3, think I should try selling? only 1 has actually fallen in half, and a few have lost the ends. Might be worth a mint.
